About the event
As your hosts for the 71st Annual Smith Family Reunion, Donese and I are excited to welcome you to our home base in scenic Chattanooga, Tennessee!
The official reunion dates are July 15–19, 2026, but since many of you will be traveling from afar, we encourage you to join us for the full week, July 12–19, to relax and take in all that this beautiful area has to offer.
Our host hotel will be the Caption by Hyatt Chattanooga Downtown, a brand-new property located in the heart of the city. Rooms can be reserved by calling Hyatt Reservations at 800-304-9288 or by booking online at Hyatt.com. Please be sure to make your reservations as soon as possible—this is peak summer travel season. Current rates are $150 plus tax per night for Hyatt members and $169 plus tax for non-members, and prices are expected to increase as availability becomes limited.
