About the event
This year’s reunion will bring our family together for a full week of fellowship, fun, exploration, great food, and lasting memories. Charlotte offers something for every generation, from young children and teens to adults and seniors, and our host committee is working to create a reunion experience everyone can enjoy.
Our home base for the week will be the Hyatt House Charlotte Center City, conveniently located in Uptown Charlotte near many of the city’s attractions, restaurants, parks, and entertainment options.
Throughout the week, family members will have opportunities to explore some of Charlotte and the surrounding area’s most popular destinations. Potential activities include First Ward Park, featuring a free interactive splash pad; ImaginOn, a nationally recognized children’s library and theatre experience; and the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture, celebrating the contributions of African and African-American artists and creators.
We’ll also have opportunities to enjoy Romare Bearden…
